Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio es conceptualizar el término “emergía” y el procedimiento metodológico utilizado para evaluar la utilización de recursos en la generación de bienes y servicios, conocido como síntesis emergética, junto con sus implicaciones en la agricultura. Se realizó una investigación documental mediante la recopilación de información fundacional para comprender este método. En conclusión, el análisis emergético en sistemas productivos proporciona un importante flujo de información para la toma de decisiones en el desarrollo de proyectos agrícolas. Esto permite estimar valores para diversos componentes de los sistemas ecológicos y productivos, así como definir condiciones de sostenibilidad para la formulación de políticas públicas
