Abstract

El artículo analiza el proceso de transformación digital y de adopción de tecnologías 4.0 en el sector de maquinaria para alimentos en Argentina. A través de un abordaje de estudio de caso se analizan las dinámicas de incorporación de tecnologías digitales en este sector. Los resultados encuentran heterogeneidad en la transformación digital entre las empresas analizadas, y sugieren que la demanda es un factor crucial en alentar este proceso. Los resultados contribuyen a la literatura que ha comenzado a documentar la dinámica de construcción de capacidades digitales en el sector manufacturero en la región, y provee insumos para el diseño y la formulación de políticas orientadas a promover la industria 4.0 en países emergentes
