Abstract

Les récentes crises financières des pays émergents semblent avoir pour origine des instabilités bancaires plus ou moins fortes, ébranlant à maintes reprises l’édifice financier mondial. Ces instabilités témoignent de la diversité des problèmes que rencontrent les pays émergents dans l’adaptation de leurs systèmes bancaires au cadre actuel de la globalisation financière. L’abondance d’épargne internationale mal maîtrisée sur les marchés émergents d’Asie ou d’Amérique latine contraste avec la double pénurie d’épargne interne et externe des pays d’Afrique.
