Abstract

L’article propose d’évaluer la capacité de l’économie turque à remplir les conditions imposées par le traité de Maastricht aux pays qui désirent adhérer à l’Union européenne. Il montre que des progrès sensibles ont été effectués en matière d’inflation, de déficit budgétaire et d’endettement public et que des faiblesses se manifestent encore dans la gestion du taux de change et des taux d’intérêt.
