La perception de l’euro par les ménages européens en 2005

Abstract

Selon une enquête d’opinions récente effectuée sur la demande de la Commission européenne, les citoyens européens ressentent encore des difficultés à utiliser pleinement l’euro, mais il s’y adapte progressivement. Ils lui reconnaissent quelques avantages, notamment individuels, mais ils lui reprochent surtout d’avoir provoquer une hausse de l’inflation. Ils continuent en 2005 à percevoir l’euro comme une simple innovation monétaire dans la mesure où ils affirment dans leur grande majorité que l’émergence de la monnaie unique n’a exercé aucun effet sur leur sentiment d’identité européenne.
