Simulation of the dynamics of biological populations: A Systems dynamic approach

Abstract

La administración de los recursos renovables ha estado fundamentada en el concepto de máximo rendimiento sustentable, según el cual el inventario de los recursos biológicos no puede sobreexplotarse sin una pérdida final de productividad. Este concepto se basa en esquemas de crecimiento biológico. El objeto de este trabajo es presentar algunos modelos de crecimiento bajo el enfoque de dinámica de sistemas, lo cual permite estudiarlos mediante simulación y análisis de sensibilidad. Se presentan los principios del modelaje de ecosistemas, los modelos clásicos de crecimiento (exponencial y logístico) y en anexo, los fundamentos de la dinámica de sistemas.
