Abstract

La introducción de nuevas tecnologías ha contribuido a mejorar la productividad en los medios de transporte urbano, aunque también coadyuvan a profundizar las diferencias existentes entre las naciones pobres y ricas. Los adelantos en el campo gerencial y una adecua da aplicación de las técnicas de planificación y control, se hacen necesarios para determinar el futuro crecimiento de las ciudades ofreciendo alternativas efectivas a los problemas de transporte.
