The classics, the keynesians and the supply side economics

Abstract

Se puede construir un modelo muy simple que permita demostrar las principales diferencias entre los modelos de Keynes y de los economistas clásicos y que, incluso, suministre algunas ideas acerca del debate que actualmente se desarrolla en los estados Unidos, sobre la economía de oferta. El modelo que aquí se construye es una versión simplificada, y desarrollada a través de técnicas gráficas, de los modelos examinados en la primera mitad del libro Macroeconomic Theory de Thomas Sargent. Un interesante resultado adicional de este modelo es que se puede usar para ilustrar algunos de los problemas actuales de Venezuela.
