Abstract

Kajian ini mengkaji kesan persepsi tentang risiko dan motivasi melancong terhadap niat untuk melancong di dalam negara semasa pandemik COVID-19. Dengan menggunakan Teori Gelagat Terancang (TPB) lanjutan, kajian ini memberi fokus kepada gelagat pelancong tempatan berdasarkan maklum balas daripada 407 responden di Malaysia. Data telah dikumpulkan melalui soal selidik yang dijalankan dalam talian yang terdiri daripada enam konstruk utama. Data ini telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis faktor konfirmatori dan analisis jalur. Penemuan kajian menunjukkan bahawa persepsi tentang risiko mempunyai hubungan tidak langsung dengan niat untuk melancong melalui perantara sikap terhadap tingkah laku. Konstruk utama TPB, iaitu sikap terhadap tingkah laku, norma subjektif dan kawalan tingkah laku pula menunjukkan hubungan positif yang ketara dengan niat untuk melancong. Manakala, motivasi pelancongan tidak memberi kesan kepada hubungan antara persepsi tentang risiko dan niat untuk melancong. Kajian ini memberi sumbangan dalam merangka pelan tindakan dan pembangunan langkah keselamatan yang berkesan dalam sektor pelancongan.
