Abstract

Globalization can cause less skilled and uneducated workers not only have difficulty in finding stable employment with high pay but also receive no basic employment rights and protections. Their participation in the labour market leaves their well-being at risk and they become vulnerable workers. In order to identify these workers in a more meaningful manner, this article will be the first of its kind to construct indicator of vulnerable worker using the existing Malaysian minimum labour standards.
