Abstract

The article researches the evolution of theory of the national economy in the historical and institutional school. On the basis of the original technique of designing of economic concepts and categories, authors formulated their own definition of «the national economy». The modern parameters of the research of the national economy are distinguished. We emphasize that the structure of the national economy is expedient to explore through the structure of the whole economic structure and models of operation.
