Analisis perilaku impulsif pembayaran paylater pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to analyze the impulsive paylater payment behavior of Indonesian Islamic University students.Methods – The research method used is descriptive analysis and linear probability model (LPM) analysis with primary data sourced from questionnaires.Findings – The findings in the research show that information media and income have a positive and significant influence on the impulsive behavior of using paylaters for Indonesian Islamic University students, while the ease of procedures and the amount of administration costs do not have a significant influence.Implication – The implication of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of how ease of use, information media, income, and administrative costs jointly influence impulsive behavior. This is an important factor for companies that provide paylater services to consider all factors so that users, especially students, are interested and comfortable with paylater services.Originality – The originality of this research can be used to form regulations regarding the use of paylater in the long term. AbstrakTujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku impulsif pembayaran paylater pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia.Metode – Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis model peluang linear (LPM) dengan data primer yang bersumber dari kuisioner.Temuan – Temuan dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media informasi dan pendapatan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku impulsif penggunaan paylater bagi mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia, sedangkan kemudahan prosedur dan besaran biaya administrasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Implikasi – Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang bagaimana kemudahan penggunaan, media informasi, pendapatan, dan biaya administrasi secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi perilaku impulsif. Hal ini menjadi faktor penting bagi perusahaan yang menyediakan layanan paylater dapat mempertimbangkan semua faktor agar pengguna, khususnya mahasiswa tertarik dan nyaman dengan layanan paylater.Orisinalitas – Orisinalitas dari penelitian ini mampu digunakan untuk pembentukan regulasi terkait penggunaan paylater dalam jangka panjang.
