Analisis pengaruh PDRB sektor pariwisata dan pendidikan terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Bali

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to analyze the influence of PDRB on the tourism sector and education on poverty in Bali Province 2010-2022. Methods – The method used in this study is panel data regression using the Poverty variable as the dependent variable and the GRDP Ratio, District Minimum Wage in the Tourism Sector, Average Length of Schooling, and Life Expectancy as independent variables. Findings – The results of the study indicate that the GRDP in the tourism and education sectors has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Bali Province. Implication – The local government, especially in Bali Province, can consistently increase the GRDP in the tourism sector every year. The government also needs to improve educational facilities and infrastructure, as well as pay attention to the equal distribution of education quality and improve the quality of human resources. Originality – This study contributes to the economic development policy of the tourism sector, especially in Bali Province. Abstrak Tujuan –. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh PDRB, dan pendidikan terhadap Kemiskinan di Provinsi Bali Tahun 2010-2022. Metode – Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi panel data dengan menggunakan variabel Kemiskinan sebagai variabel dependen dan Rasio PDRB, Upah Minimum Kabupaten Sektor Pariwisata, Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah, dan Umur Harapan Hidup sebagai variabel independent. Temuan – Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PDRB sektor pariwisata dan pendidikan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Bali. Implikasi – Pemerintah daerah khususnya di Provinsi Bali dapat secara konsisten menaikkan PDRB sektor pariwisata setiap tahunnya. Pemerintah juga perlu meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, serta memperhatikan pemerataan kualitas pendidikan, dan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Orisinalitas – Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap kebijakan pembangunan ekonomi sektor pariwisata khususnya di Provinsi Bali.
