Abstract

Este artículo muestra que la “ley marxiana del valor†puede ofrecer fundamentos sólidos para la comprensión de la constitución y dinámica de las Cadenas Globales de Valor (CGV). Se establece así una conexión firme entre las dinámicas intraindustriales y la dinámica general del «sistema como un todo», que es precisamente donde reside la mayor debilidad del enfoque de CGV. Estas ideas se muestran luego a través de una discusión más empírica de las transformaciones recientes de la composición y estructura de gobernanza de las CGV, resultantes de la creciente separación entre innovación y fabricación, y el surgimiento de proveedores globales altamente concentrados. Se ilustra esos fenómenos mediante el caso de estudio de la industria automotriz
