Después de LA COP21, las ambiciones climáticas de la Unión Europea y la cuestión de la justicia social en la lucha contra el cambio climático

Abstract

En este artículo se hace un balance de los resultados de la COP21 de Paris (Vigésimo primera Conferencia de las Partes de la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Climático). Se analizan los objetivos de reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero establecidos por la Unión Europea (UE) y las dificultades para materializar en la práctica esa ambición climática tantas veces declarada. Y, finalmente, se considera la cuestión de la justicia social en la lucha contra el cambio climático, dada la diferente responsabilidad de los distintos países en la generación de un problema que afecta a toda la Humanidad y cuya solución solo podrá venir de un reparto equitativo de los esfuerzos necesarios para reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.
