Deslocalización a nivel regional: el caso de la industria y los servicios en la Comunidad de Madrid

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta la evolución de la deslocalización u offshoring para la Comunidad de Madrid a partir de datos procedentes de las Tablas Input- Output regionales en el periodo 1996-2003. Se utilizan distintas medidas de offshoring a partir de las compras de bienes intermedios importados y se distingue según el origen de esas compras: el resto de España, la UE y el resto del mundo. Nuestros resultados muestran un crecimiento generalizado de las compras intermedias, en línea con estudios previos para el conjunto de la economía española. Se observa además un comportamiento diferente de estas compras por sectores y origen y un proceso de sustitución de las compras dentro de la región (que se mantienen constantes o disminuyen) por compras del resto del mundo y en menor medida del resto de España. Esta evolución se observa tanto para los bienes intermedios procedentes del mismo sector como los de sectores distintos al que realiza las compras.
