    (Charles C. Chester is the author of Conservation Across Borders: Biodiversity in an Interdependent World (Island Press 2006). He teaches the courses International Environmental Conflict and Collaboration at Brandeis University and International Biodiversity Conservation at The Fletcher School of Tufts University. He has worked for the Henry P. Kendall Foundation on a range of domestic and international conservation issues, for the Union of Concerned Scientists on global biodiversity issues, and for the World Foundation for Environment and Development on bioprospecting.)
