Abstract

Küçük ayrıntılara odaklanmak ve ampirik yöntemlerin bir araştırma amacı olarak ele alınması giderek günümüzün iktisat araştırmalarının yapısını oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, bu yapıya geçişi anlamak için iktisat alanındaki araştırma faaliyetlerini inceleyerek bir başlangıç yapıyoruz. Çalışmada, hızla gelişen teknolojinin ulaşılabilirliği ya da kariyer hedeflerini gerçekleştirebilmek için akademisyenlerin giderek daha fazla yayın yapma baskısı altında kalmalarını ele alıyoruz. Bu gibi etkilerin, günümüzün akademik araştırma ortamını nasıl biçimlendirdiği üzerine gözlem ve düşüncelerimizi sunmayı amaçlıyoruz.
