Abstract

In order to effectively address the two problems in extremely-low frequency (ELF) communication, a new receiving array composed by four magnetic antennas with higher sensitivity is designed, various analog filter modules are designed, which can suppress 50 Hz interference and its harmonic components effectively. Considering the low SINR in ELF communication, based on generalized sidelobe cancellation (GSC) algorithm, a new improved algorithm combined with signal preprocessing is proposed, making the proposed algorithm obtain the more reference information about the noise and interference component of the main signal, enhancing the estimation accuracy of the component, thereby achieving the better interference suppression effect. In order to test the performance of the proposed algorithm, an experimental platform is set up and multiple sets of controlled experiments are performed. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is better than the original algorithm, and promotes the SINR gain within the signal bandwidth to a great extent.
