Abstract

This special issue highlights some of the growing literature on economic pedagogy and the evaluation of teaching innovations. These papers move beyond curriculum and lecturer issues and provide evidence and analysis of effective teaching and assessment practice. It does this through the use of a wide range of both direct and indirect empirical measures of student engagement and the influence on student performance.
