Abstract

With sexual freedom represented by the changing definition of marriage in the news lately, the question this article seeks to answer is what drives the issue of sexual freedom. This article focuses on the hypothesized link between sexual freedom and possible explanatory factors. Data are obtained from 1990 to 2010. The examination of data shows that median income, ideology, median age, population density and religion variables are significant in understanding sexual freedom in the United States.
