Abstract

— The article discusses current problems and limitations of the development of subsidized prosthodontic care in the Russian Federation and identifies regulatory, organizational, and technological opportunities for increasing the efficiency of public spending in this area. It is argued that a transition from traditional (analog) technology to digital (3D) technology of denture fabrication can significantly improve the quality of fabricated dentures, increase their service lives, and result in greater coverage of the population with this kind of healthcare.
