Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Logistik ist ein strategischer Erfolgsfaktor verteilter und vernetzter Produktionen. Aus dem Zielkonflikt zwischen schneller Reaktion auf Kundenwünsche und einer wirtschaftlichen Optimierung der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette ergibt sich eine zentrale Herausforderung: Integration und Harmonisierung der Geschäftsprozesse und Organisationen über Unternehmensgrenzen hinweg. Dies ist in Bereichen der seriellen Fertigung bereits recht gut gelungen. Im Bereich der Einzel- und Kleinserienfertigung von hochwertigen technischen Gütern herrscht aufgrund von Komplexität und hohen änderungsraten der Produkte bislang noch Nachholbedarf. Verschärfend wirkt hier die zunehmende Nachfrage nach umfassenden und individuellen Lösungen, die unternehmensübergreifend erbracht werden sollen. Schnelle Reaktionen auf Veränderungen von Produkten und Auftragssituationen erfordern jedoch kurze Wege in der Organisation und in der Logistik. Gleichzeitig ist eine Senkung der Aufwendungen in Administration und Umrüstung der technischen Ressourcen notwendig. Die zukünftigen Aufgaben der Logistik gehen daher weit über die Einzelleistungen beim Informationsund Warentransport zwischen zwei Unternehmen hinaus. Ansätze für eine Integration der Logistik und deren Herausforderungen bei der Transformation zum Lösungsanbieter in einer verteilten und vernetzten Produktion sind Gegenstand dieses Beitrages.
