Abstract

With the passage of time and the industrialization of cities, taking advantage of fossil fuels has increased and, as a result, has reduced their resources and created a crisis. The solution to this crisis is applying renewable energy resources. Wind energy is one of the critical alternatives to fossil fuels, and this study investigates the best leading and successful flexible suppliers of wind turbines. Turkey is one of the windiest regions in the world, and its use of wind energy has significantly expanded. Because of the challenging nature of criteria selection regarding the diversity of criteria, uncertainty, and the difference in experts’ opinions, fuzzy hybrid multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques have been used. At first, the requirements are determined according to experts’ empirical opinions and objective observations. These criteria are weighted by using SWARA and Shanon Entropy weighting methods in fuzzy mode. Our final value for criteria was calculated by taking advantage of game theory. Then, the fuzzy MULTIMOORA technique was used according to the optimal weights of the criteria to extract the foremost answer as the best flexible supplier of wind turbines. In the end, sensitivity analysis was done on the requirements to check the stability of the final solution.
