Abstract

In this research paper, we have evaluated fuzzy reliability and fuzzy mean time to failure of two different systems by using distinct fuzzy distributions under triskaidecagonal fuzzy environment. Using the concept of $$\alpha$$ α -cut of triskaidecagonal fuzzy number, firstly we have evaluated the system reliability in which the lifetimes of components are modelled as fuzzy exponential distribution and secondly, we have evaluated the fuzzy reliability functions of k-out-of-m system and parallel system where the survivors have the binomial distribution. Finally, some numerical examples are taken to illustrate how to calculate the fuzzy reliability and fuzzy mean time to failure along with the graphs.
