Abstract

Les résultats de cette étude comparative relèvent, dans le domaine de la promotion d'activités sportives et physiques, l'importance des approches orientées à la politique et l'infrastructure. De tels approches peuvent avoir pour conséquence de mettre à disposition de la population les moyens pour mener une vie physiquement plus active, résultant en une meilleure santé. Des recherches approfondies à l'aide d'enquêtes à coupe longitudinale pourraient s'avérer particulièrement intéressantes en vue d'une analyse d'éventuelles causalités dans les relations entre la politique, l'infrastructure et l'activité physique.
