Hospitalisationen infolge Hepatitis A, B und C in Österreich 1996–1998

Abstract

Le but de cette étude est d'analyser les données de tous les patients autrichiens hospitalisés de 1996 à 1998 avec le diagnostic d'hépatite A, B ou C. La base de données utilisée, le «minimum basic data set» (MBDS) contient les enregistrements personnels, administratifs et cliniques de toutes les personnes hospitalisées dans les hôpitaux publiques en Autriche. Hépatite A: Le taux standardisé d'hospitalisation (TSH) varie de 2.7/100000 (1996) à 4.2/100000 (1997). Les écoliers âgés de 5 à 14 ans présentent le taux le plus elevé (7-13/100000 par an). De toutes les régions autrichiennes, Vienne a le TSH le plus haut (6.8/100000 par an). Hépatite B: Le TSH est resté stable à 3/100000 par an de 1996 à 1998. La plupart des hospitalisations concerne les adolescents et les jeunes adultes (5.2/100000 par an). En 1997 et 1998, on observe une augmentation des hospitalisations chez les enfants en bas âge (0 à 4 ans) (1998: 4.4/100000). Par région, le Vorarlberg (6.4/100000 par an) et Vienne (4.5/100000 par an) présentent les TSH les plus hauts. Hépatite C: De 1996 à 1998, le TSH a augmenté de 6.4/100000 à 9.7/100000. Le nombre d'hospitalisations s'accroît à partir de l'adolescence, et persiste à un niveau élevé (10-20/100000 par an) chez les adultes et les personnes âgées (35 à 74 ans). Les TSH varient considér-ablement d'une région à l'autre. Les taux les plus élevés sont observés à Salzburg (15.1/100000 par an) et en Carinthie (12.1/100000 par an).
