Measuring the response burden of official statistical surveys for businesses

Abstract

Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die Belastung von Unternehmen durch statistische Erhebungen diskutiert und in den Kontext der bürokratischen Gesamtbelastung der deutschen Wirtschaft sowie der gefühlten Belastung gestellt. Insbesondere werden die Entwicklung und die Ergebnisse des so genannten Belastungsbarometers vorgestellt. Mit diesem Instrument kann gezeigt werden, wie Maßnahmen des Gesetzgebers im Bereich der amtlichen Statistik auf den Aufwand der Unternehmen wirken und welche Belastung sich aus Konjunkturschwankungen ergibt.
