Unterrichten und Prüfen mit dem Statistiklabor: Ein Erfahrungsbericht

Abstract

Computers are an essential element in the daily work of any statistician today. With regard to statistical teaching at university level, the situation is completely different. This article describes a project aiming at the integration of statistical software in introductory statistic courses at the Freie Universität Berlin. It focuses on the conceptional phase, the pilot-project, the first deployment at large scale during the winter-term 2004/2005 and the evaluation of the concept. Finally the future of the concept is discussed. Copyright Springer 2008
