Developing The Wind Energy Sector In Dobrogea

Abstract

Dobrogea s wind energy sector has one of the most auspicious futures in Europe and has been recently targeted by a large number of foreign investors. This paper works towards an understanding of the advantages of using renewable energy (in particular wind energy), while also and presents the importance that the region can play in the sustainable development of the European Union. In addition, a few of the projects that are undergoing will be discussed, as well as their impact on the local communities.
