Konwergencja społeczna i ekonomiczna regionów państw nordyckich

Abstract

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza konwergencji społecznej i ekonomicznej w regionach państw nordyckich. Do analizy obu typów konwergencji wykorzystano przestrzenne modele panelowe. Analiza statystyki I Morana wskazała na zasadność uwzględniania komponentu przestrzennego w modelach dotyczących zarówno wielkości PKB per capita, jak i syntetycznego miernika poziomu życia ludności. Nie udało się oszacować modelu o odpowiedniej jakości dla konwergencji społecznej. W przypadku konwergencji ekonomicznej najlepszy okazał się model SLM_FE, który wskazał na występowanie konwergencji typu beta. W przypadku konwergencji ekonomicznej zbadano również występowanie konwergencji typu sigma. Z analizy wynika, że dysproporcje w podziale PKB per capita między regionami państw nordyckich maleją w tempie 0,2% rocznie.
