Abstract

Integration of knowledge from several disciplines plays a key role in interdisciplinary projects. It constitutes a real challenge in this kind of projects. This paper collects integrative mechanisms from several sources of literature including intuitive and creative approaches, several approaches related to software engineering, general theory of integrative studies and management of interdisciplinary teams. It compares them with regard to several dimensions and it discusses perspectives of their application in IT projects for public administration.
