Potrzeba prowadzenia długookresowych prognoz w systemach emerytalnych

Abstract

Artykuł przedstawia kształtowanie się sytuacji systemów emerytalnych w Polsce po 1995 r. w Polsce w kontekście zachodzących przemian demograficznych związanych ze starzeniem się ludności oraz stosowane rozwiązania dotyczące prognozowania makroekonomicznego i mikroekonomicznego w systemach emerytalnych. Prowadzone systematycznie projekcje pozwalają na ocenę wpływu czynników demograficznych, gospodarczych, w tym związanych z rynkiem pracy oraz kształtu systemu emerytalnego na stabilność systemów emerytalnych w przyszłości oraz poziom zabezpieczenia dochodowego osób w wieku emerytalnym. Systematyczne sporządzanie i publikowanie prognoz w tym obszarze stanowi istotny element oceny istniejących systemów jak również może wskazywać na kierunki ich dalszych zmian, które zapewniają długookresową stabilność systemów emerytalnych, ograniczając ryzyka zarówno dla systemów finansów publicznych jak i z perspektywy polityki społecznej.
