Liderazgo Transformador, Engagement Y Creatividad En El Contexto De Pymes Intensivas En Conocimient

Abstract

La creatividad individual constituye un un input fundamental para la innovación y la competitividad de las pymes intensivas en tecnología y conocimiento. Este artículo plantea que los supervisores con un estilo de liderazgo transformador pueden estimular la creatividad de los empleados vía engagement. Los resultados del estudio, contrastado mediante ecuaciones estructurales en una muestra de empleados de pymes intensivas en tecnología y conocimiento, así lo confirman. Este hallazgo supone importantes implicaciones para la dirección de las pymes intensivas en tecnología y conocimiento que se enfrenta al desafío de potenciar la creatividad de los empleados. Individual creativity is a fundamental input for the innovation and competitiveness of high-tech and knowledge based SMEs. This article argues that supervisor’s transformational leadership behavior can stimulate employee creativity through engagement. The results of the study, tested using structural equation modeling on a sample of employees from high-tech and knowledge based SMEs, confirm this. This finding has important implications for the management of high-tech and knowledge based SMEs who faces the challenge of enhancing the creativity of their employees.
