¿Garantiza El Fondo De Reserva La Sostenibilidad Del Sistema Público De Pensiones?

Abstract

Desde hace décadas se habla de la crisis financiera que sufren los sistemas de pensiones, lo cual ha llevado a la necesidad de implementar mecanismos de estabilización y reformas con el objetivo de solucionar tales desequilibrios. El Fondo de Reserva es uno de los mecanismos utilizados para corregir las situaciones de desequilibrio actuarial del sistema de pensiones, actuando ante crisis demográficas y económicas. Este estudio tiene como objetivo el análisis de la evolución y situación actual del Fondo de Reserva de la Seguridad Social en España, y de su papel en la sostenibilidad del sistema público de pensiones. El trabajo nos ha permitido identificar oportunidades de mejora y establecer un conjunto de recomendaciones que, de ser consideradas por los organismos oficiales podrían convertir al Fondo de Reserva en un elemento relevante en la solvencia de los sistemas de Seguridad Social contribuyendo a su sostenibilidad y aumentando la equidad entre las generaciones de pensionistas.
