Revisión De Las Primeras Experiencias De Resinación En Galicia (1950-1970)

Abstract

En este artículo se revisan las experiencias de resinación desarrolladas en Galicia desde la década de los 50 a los 60, basándose en publicaciones y en el estudio de antiguos documentos rescatados del Instituto Forestal de Investigaciones y Experiencias (IFIE). Los documentos recopilados resumen las experiencias de investigación realizadas en Galicia, y aportan unas primeras conclusiones que permiten reflexionar sobre la viabilidad económica de la extracción de resina en Galicia, e investigar sobre una selvicultura que compatibilizase el aprovechamiento principal de la madera con la extracción complementaria de resina del pino pinaster. The first experiences in the production of oleoresin in Galicia (northwestern Iberian Peninsula) during the second half of the 20th century, are reviewed in this paper. The study is based primarily on ancient documents rescued from the IFIE (Spanish Forest Research and Experiences Institute) that summarizes not only the trials established in Galicia, but provides information on the conclusions drawn to compatibilize timber and crude resin production, and analyze their economic viability.
