Мясницкая, 9/11. E-mail: anefedova@hse.ruНа основании регрессионного анализа, в котором задействован большой массив эмпирических данных, Р. Мюнх описывает результаты изменений, происходящих в университетах с 1970‑х годов по настоящее время. Эти изменения сопровождаются рядом негативных последствий, среди которых автор особо выделяет оценивание эффективности научных исследований и деятельности университетов в целом на основании количественных показателей, а также увеличивающуюся коммерциализацию результатов научных исследований. Как следствие, система высшего образования становится все более стратифицированной, в ней увеличивается разрыв между ядром, который составляют университеты с мощным экономическим, культурным и социальным капиталом, и "отстающей" периферией, а значит, снижается общий уровень творчества в науке и темп производства нового знания. Книга Р. Мюнха представляет большой интерес для российских исследователей высшего образования, особенно в связи с принятым курсом на повышение конкурентоспособности российского образования на международной арене.
