E-mail: ingrimclaren@gmail.comОписан опыт внедрения развития навыков письма на всем протяжении обучения (Writing across the Curriculum, WAC / Communication across the Curriculum, CAC) на факультете естественных наук Университета Вест-Индии. Результаты внедрения оцениваются на основании аналитических систем К. Энсона, а также У. Кондона и К. Ратц. Продвижение программы не вышло за рамки начального этапа, тем не менее ее участники смогли оценить преимущества внедрения WAC. Автор приходит к выводу, что на ход внедрения WAC оказывает существенное влияние социально-культурный и институциональный контекст этой деятельности. Для обеспечения успешности программ WAC недостаточно движения только "сверху вниз" или "снизу вверх", оптимальным и эффективным решением является комбинирование направлений распространения.DOI: 10.17323/1814-9545-2015-4-92-115
