Картографический Поворот: Школьная География И Визуальная Политика В Эпоху Больших Утопий

Abstract

В статье реформа школьной географии середины 1930-х годов представлена в категориях картографического поворота. Превращение карты в основу учебных курсов, перевод географических знаний в визуальный формат и проявление внимания к картографическим навыкам учащихся автор рассматривает на фоне важнейших символических событий эпохи. Преобразование советской реальности происходит в географическом пространстве, затрагивает природу, но именно благодаря карте обретает свою видимость и убедительность. Это обстоятельство позволяет уточнить статус новой политики в отношении школьной географии: она является производной от политического (в широком смысле) использования географической карты.
