Abstract

Мы публикуем главы из первой части книги Пьера Бурдье, чтобы наши читатели могли раньше других познакомиться с одной из наиболее значимых работ, ставших неотъемлемой частью дискуссий о равенстве в образовании.Для великого французского социолога ХХ в. Пьера Бурдье тема неравенства в образовании была одной из важнейших. Неравенство рассматривалось им не само по себе, а как проявление механизма социального воспроизводства. Тому, как этот механизм реализуется в системе образования, и посвящена его книга "Воспроизводство: элементы теории системы образования", написанная в соавторстве с Ж.-К. Пассроном и опубликованная в 1970 г. В настоящее время ее перевод на русский язык готовится к печати в серии "Образование. Мировой бестселлер", публикуемой издательством "Просвещение" совместно с Национальным фондом подготовки кадров и Московской школой социальных и экономических наук.
