Abstract

27 сентября 2005 г. в Москве по инициативе редакции журнала "Вопросы образования" состоялся "круглый" стол на тему "Может ли образование обойтись без педвузов?" Участникам дискуссии предлагалось обсудить следующие вопросы. Что есть педагогическое образование сегодня? Какие результаты дало изменение статуса педвузов и превращение их в классические университеты? Как изменить качество подготовки учителей? Кто нужен и кто приходит сегодня работать в школу? Каковы способы повышения квалификации учителя? Где он может получить дополнительное педагогическое образование? Кто должен формировать запрос на подготовку учителя? Какое образование учителя более востребовано в школе: фундаментальное или педагогическое? Как надо готовить современного учителя?
