Abstract

Автора доклада, профессора Майкла Барбера, недаром называют архитектором реформ образования в Великобритании. Он не только автор замысла последней реформы содержания образования в начальной школе - он последовательно воплощал эту реформу в жизнь, будучи советником госсекретаря по вопросам образования, и постоянно информировал широкую общественность о том, каких результатов добиваются школы в ходе этой реформы. Всякому реформатору известно, что если вообще не рассказывать общественности о ходе реформ, то эту функцию возьмут на себя другие - и будут выдавать предвзятое мнение противников реформы за обоснованное суждение. Поэтому нужно позаботиться об освещении преобразований самому. Однако сколько бы вы ни продумывали показатели и как тщательно бы ни выверяли информацию о переменах, происходящих в результате реформы, вас обязательно будут упрекать в том, что ваши показатели завышены, а оценки неточны.
