Abstract

Зачем люди получают высшее образование, если часть полученных в университете знаний вообще не используется ими в последующей работе, а часть с гораздо меньшими усилиями может быть приобретена непосредственно на рабочем месте? Влияет ли получаемое нами образование на наши трудовые качества? В классической работе Майкла Спенса, за которую ее автор был удостоен Нобелевской премии, утверждается: даже если предположить, что такое влияние отсутствует, получение образования является осмысленным действием.
