Abstract

Статья Ларри Лесли и Гари Джонсона посвящена рассмотрению двух вопросов: насколько модель совершенной конкуренции применима к анализу рынка высшего образования и каковы перспективы финансирования обучения за счет студенческих стипендий. Будучи написана 30 лет назад, в первые годы развития экономической теории информации, статья содержит выводы и положения, которые современным экономистам могут показаться наивными. Но это не совсем так. Некоторые из выводов и сегодня представляют интерес, а сама тематика была, есть и будет актуальной.
