Abstract

The article presents an extended systems approach to the study of social and labor relations in a globalizing economy. The method used, following Fritjof Capra, combines biological, cognitive and social aspects of life. In contrast to the current discipline-oriented theories of industrial and labor relations, the new approach provides an integrative theoretical base for description of social and labor relations and thus dramatically increases the possibilities to track and interpret new trends in the development of social and labor relations in a globalizing economy.
