Abstract

In the current period innovations lead to the establishment of new types of business, and new organizational forms of business emerge. The structure of a network consists of a system of interrelated nodes. Network as an organization is examined through its comparison to the other organizational alternatives in economics: the market and the hierarchy. The article describes the set of specific characteristics that each of these alternatives has.
