Lake Ladoga, a prospective source of water for the constituent entities of the North-Western region

Abstract

Северо-Западный регион нуждается в долгосрочных программах, направленных на улучшение инфраструктуры, что будет способствовать дальнейшему повышению качества жизни населения. Среди стратегических планов важную роль играет система мер, связанная с совершенствованием централизованного водоснабжения и включающая мероприятия по реализации требований, предъявляемых к водоисточнику водным, экологическим и санитарным законодательством. Авторы статьи, анализируя ситуацию в регионе и сообщая данные о качестве природной воды, о зонах санитарной охраны водоисточника, о финансовой потребности проведения эффективной водоподготовки, приходят к выводу, что объектом, в наибольшей степени отвечающим современным требованиям, является Ладожское озеро. На его основе может быть создан надежный и безопасный водный сектор, обеспечивающий жизнедеятельность всех отраслей национального хозяйства, способствующий дальнейшей консолидации субъектов региона.
