Principles and functional characteristics logistics management

Abstract

This paper investigates and summarizes the basic principles and functional characteristics of the logistics management, the features of the logistics management and logistics system design features the company. Also during the research was the basis for the functions defined logistics management as well as the basic principles of these functions, isolated and characterized by the main features of logistic management. It is concluded that the specific benefits of implementing a logistics management are provided: a more effective coordination of individual units, reducing the total number of violations inconsistency cycle through the actions of individual functional units, strengthening constructive cooperation between functional departments, reducing overall production cycle and the time required for delivery its customers, an increase of reliability of performance of contractual obligations to suppliers and customers, as well as increasing reliability and duration of connections.
