Social standards as functional landmarks of the development of the social sphere

Abstract

It is social standards not social minimums are grounded in the article to be applied while planning the development of social sphere. There has been stated that it is necessary to revise the existing legislation base of adjusting of social standards and social guarantees and bringing those in accordance with the European standards. The lacks of Ukrainian government system of social standards and social guarantees have been defined. There have been revealed the priorities of work on providing the systematic integration of Ukraine in the European Union and introducing on its territory the European social standards according to European Social Charter ratified by the Parliament of Ukraine.
