Abstract

В статье дается краткая характеристика Центральной Азии (ЦА), ее потенциальные возможности для развития процесса интеграции. Последовательно рассматриваются три этапа интеграционного процесса в ЦА, их задачи и итоги. Показано, как страны региона втягиваются в глобальную экономику, тренд развития интеграционных процессов начинает носить не только внутренний, но и внешний характер. Возникает сложная проблема выбора акцента дальнейшего развития: на Запад или на Восток, необходимость оценки каждого пути для региона ЦА в целом и каждого государства в отдельности.
